Previously on Survivor shuffled:
VO: The close bond between Simone, Kevin, and Cindi,
Cindi--I think I have gotten the closest to probably Simone right now.
VO: led to the development of the Jury alliance.
VO: After Mike had outed the Jury alliance,
Mike: Im out. I dont want to be in the alliance you set up any more.
VO: Nick told Tom of the plan against them.
Nick--some of those people need to go, or else none of us will stand a chance.
VO: Simone saw that Kevin had been voted out,
Simone--My heart sank and I knew something had happened to cause him to get voted out.
VO: and she went on a crusade to try to find who vote for Kevin.
Simone--It is taking a lot for me not to explode on everyone and start pointing fingers and forcing people to talk. I will find out what happened to Kevin, and he will be avenged.
VO: But as tribal council loomed closer, Simone did not have enough evidence to cast a vote against anyone, and in the end, Mike was voted out of the tribe for openly leaving his alliance.
Adam: Mike...the tribe has spoken.

Night 12: Morongo Camp.
(Morongo returns to camp from Tribal Council)
Simone: Thank you Jay, for voting as you said you would.
Jay: Youre welcome.
Simone--Tribal council was interesting. Emily said some things that just stuck out in my mind and made me think she was the one who voted for Kevin. At this point Im almost sure it was her.
(Simone, Emily, Jay, and Paul talk)
Simone: I want to apologize to everyone for the past few days. I didnt mean to point fingers if that is what it seemed like to anyone.
Jay: It is okay.
Simone: So what is our status?
Emily: What do you mean?
Simone: Are we still going to try to pull our alliance up?
Paul: Im still in.
Emily: Me too.
Simone: Jay, you with us?
Jay: Of course.
Emily--I am continuing to play this game as an individual. Thats how it should be played. I mean, I did make an alliance with Daniel, but we promised to watch each others backs, and I will do that. I am individual though. However, if Simone knew that I wasnt with her, shed be sure to make it her number one task to get me out. Shes has already proved she doesnt like people leaving her alliance by voting for Mike.
Day 13: Coachella Camp
(The castaways wake up to a hot morning. Tom and Steph are already up, doing morning chores. The rest seem to wake up around the same time.)
Cindi: Good morning.
Nick: Yes it is. Good morning.
Chris: Its so hot!!
Cindi: And sticky.
Steph: Ick!
Cindi--Surprisingly enough, I am getting along very well with the people in Morongo. Well, we are Coachella for now, but I did make an alliance to get these people out, and now that I know them, I wish I wouldnt have. But an alliance is an alliance, and today Im going to be shuffled around again. Im glad I got to know them these 3 days though. This has been the best time Ive had out here, and Im sad that it has to end today.
Day 13: Challenge Beach
Morongo enters from the left, Coachella enters from the right.
Adam: Welcome Morongo and Coachella. Ill take back the headdresses Tom and Jay. Todays challenge will test your political abilities. We are going to hold a little survivor election. After all, if the tribe is going to be ruled be a chief, they should have some input as to who is their chief right? There are 12 of you left. I am going to split you up alphabetically into 4 groups of 3. The first 3 who have names at the beginning of the alphabet, the next 3, and so on. In those groups of 3, each of you will cast one vote of who you would like to see as chief from your group. Majority rules so if 2 people vote to send someone, then that goes. You may not vote for yourself. After we have 4 representatives (1 from each group), we will move on to round 2 of the election. But first things first. Im going to divide you guys.

Adam: I love saying this...I'll go tally the votes
Cindi: Yeah.
Adam: Alrightfrom the first group, Chris. From group 2, Emily. The third group has elected Jay. And the last group has selected Steph.
Steph: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Adam: Okay, heres what were going to do. The 4 of you, (Chris, Emily, Jay and Steph) will not vote in round 2. In the second round, the other 8 castaways will rank you 1-4 of who they want to be chief, 1 being their first choice, 4 being their last. In the end, the castaway with the lowest score will become chief. Any questions?
Tom: Nope.
Adam: Okay, good. Well then, well vote...Cindi, youre up first.
(The castaways vote for the new chiefs)
Adam: Ill read the results. In 4th place with a score of 20 is Jay.
(Jay gave a disappointed look)
Adam: 3rd place.Chris with a score of 19. So Emily and Steph will be the new chiefs. But who's tribe will be going to tribal council?
Adam: In 2nd place, with a score of 17 is.......Steph.
Steph: Man!!
Adam: That means Emily, you have been elected as chief with a score of 14. Please come up here ladies and select your tribes.
(Emily and Steph joined Adam on either side.)
Adam: Emily, which tribe?
Emily: Coachella, please.
Adam: Steph, youre Morongo.
Steph: Yay.
Adam: Emily, make your first pick.
Emily: Tom.
Steph--I would have been sad that Emily chose Tom first...but...well actually I am sad about it...butTom told me before the challenge that if I were to win, he thought it would be best if I not select him right off the bat...he said that it may in fact be better if we split up a bit, so that people wouldnt think we were aligned.
Steph: Hmmm...then...Daniel.
(Emily looked at Steph and frowned)
Emily: Simone
Emily--I knew if I won that I would pick Simone early. I dont want her to find out that it was me who had voted for Kevinso, in a way I need to gain her trust.
Steph: Nick
Emily: Chris.
Steph: Amanda
(Emily eyed the remaining 4)
Emily: Paul.
Steph: Cindi
Cindi: Okay.
Adam: Emily, make your final pick between Jay and Jawa.
Emily: Jawa.
Emily--I need Jay out!! Hes the only one that knows for sure that I am the one that changed my vote. I intentionally didnt pick him, hoping that something will happen and hell get voted out at tribal council.
Adam: Okay, Jay, youre with Morongo. Heres how the tribe look:
