Day 36: Sekani Camp
Nick and Tom sat in front of the fire, the rest of the tribe was no where in sight.
Nick: Amanda talked to me and Emily.
Tom: What did she say?
Nick: I dont know.
Tom: Are we voting for Amanda tonight?
Nick: The only other choice is Steph.
Tom: Which, Im not doing. I love that girl.
Nick threw a rock into the fire.
Tom: So what did Amanda say?
Nick: I think shes just trying to find a way in with us.
Tom: Shes already with us.
Nick: I know but I mean, me and you are tight, you have Steph too. I think shes just realizing for the first time shes the 4th in our alliance.
Tom: Did she seem desperate?
Nick: What do you mean?
Tom: Did she try to get you to turn on Steph?
Nick: Actually, some what.
Tom: I thought she would pull something like that. Which is more of a reason for her to go. What did she tell you?
Nick: She was saying how Steph was a greater threat at challenges and that Nick and that there is no way to separate you and Steph.
Tom: You know my final 2 alliance is with you Nick.
Nick: I know.
Tom: Steph is a nice girl, just really clueless about this game. Shes a pawn. Without me she wouldnt be here and without her, WE wouldnt be here. Its me and you in the final 2.
Nick--I know that I have Toms word, but his relationship with Steph is just really threatening. What if Steph wins the last immunity challenge? Shell take Tom over me in a second.
Tom--My final 2 alliance has been with Nick and I plan on staying true to that. However, Im going to keep people in this game that would take me to the final 2 if they won the last challenge. Nick would because of our alliance. Steph would because weve been close in this game and she really wouldnt think twice about it. And Emily would because out of all the people left, I am the only one who has looked out for her at any time in this game. She cant stand Nick because of his lack of effort. So out of the 4 other people left in this game, Amanda would be least likely to take me into the final 2. Thats the main reason I need her gone. Once shes out, I have a guaranteed spot in the final 2.
Amanda is washing a pot by the waterfall.
Tom: Hey Amanda.
Amanda: Hey.
Tom: How are you?
Amanda: Im fine.
A long awkward silence comes between them.
Tom--I was going to talk to Amanda about her strategy over the past couple of days but when we started talking, I really couldnt. I think we both knew what was going to be said, even though we both didnt say a word. I think our silence said enough.
Steph is laying the shelter, batting flies from her face with one hand as she stares up with her other hand on her forhead.
Steph--Tonight is going to be super tough on me. Basically the only person that I want to go is Nick. Emily and Tom are immune, so its between me, nick and Amanda. I want to vote out Nick but Tom said he wants to vote out Amanda. So I guess we cant vote out Nick. So it comes between me and Amanda. Even though I promised her I wouldnt let Tom vote her out, I have no options right now because its either me or her. I wish things didnt happen like this!!!! This not weeeeeeeee at all!
Emily--Besides the fact that I cant be voted out, Im also happy I won immunity because now the Morongo alliance is forced to turn on itself. Im actually surprised no one has rallied for my vote except for Amanda. I think Tom assumes that Im going to vote with him but Im playing this game for me. I would like to vote out Nick but neither Amanda or Steph offered me that option. If they would have I wouldve taken it in a second. But they didnt. So my choices are to side with Amanda, and possibly Nick and get out Steph who is a huge immunity threat, or side with Tom like Im expected to do. If I vote out Steph, that may hurt me at the next tribal council because I wont have Toms trust or support anymore. That is my lifeline in this game and I dont know if I can afford to sacrifice it.
