Day 35: Sekani Camp
Amanda: Good job Emily
Emily: Thanks.
Tom--I didnt want this situation to happen, but Emily winning immunity might have been good for my game. I have been having doubts about Amandas commitment to the alliance for awhile and the previous tribal council confirmed that she is playing the game.
Tom and Amanda sit in the water near the waterfall.
Tom: Amanda, what are your true alliances?
Amanda: Im not going to lie to you Tom. I have no alliances besides the final 4 one we made. Me, you, Steph, and Nick. Besides that, I have nothing.
Tom--Amanda confirmed to me that past the final 4 alliance she has nothing. That means that she has no commitment to me either. Out of the people left, she is the most expendable to my game. Shes also the most dangerous.
Amanda--Once again Emily is messing up everything in this game. Ah, well she worked for it. I just dont know what to do. Things have changed over the past few days. Before all of this stuff, Id say that Nick probably would have been voted off in this situation. Steph, Emily and I would have voted for Nick. But now, I just dont trust Steph. If she wants to vote with me that is fine but I really dont see that as an option. I think that at this tribal council, I am going to get voted off because I turned on the alliance. And even though Steph said she wouldnt let Tom and Nick vote for me, shes not a player. She has no influence on any part of this game. And shell follow what Tom does just like shes done since day 1 of this game.
Amanda tugs Emilys arm as Emily and Nick gather mussels from the shore.
Amanda: Lets talk guys.
Nick: Sure.
Emily: About tribal council?
Amanda: Yeah.
Nick: Thats still tomorrow. We have plenty of time to think about it.
Amanda--Nick was kind of difficult to talk to at first.
Nick--My mind has been made up on who to vote for since the last tribal council if Emily won immunity.
Amanda: Do yall know who you are going to vote for?
Emily: No idea.
Emily--I feel at this vote, my vote probably will be the deciding vote. Before this last tribal council, I think Tom really held this group together. But now, Amanda went against the alliance and I dont know how Steph and Nick feel. Logic says that Amanda will go at this tribal council.
Nick: Are you not voting with Steph?
Amanda: I dont know if I can trust her. I just want you to know Nick that I would have never voted for you if I thought I didnt have Stephs support.
Nick: You voted for me.
Emily: So did I. Its the game, I asked Amanda to vote for you.
Nick: But I mean, what is she asking me? To vote with her after I nearly got voted out because of her?
Amanda: No, Im just saying that this is a game and I was keeping my options open for what I thought might be best for my game, just like you should be doing now.
Nick: What do you mean?
Amanda: I know that Im probably an easy vote right now, but just think about every angle you can take, both of you. Tom and Emily cant be voted out tomorrow night. That means either Steph, you or me is going home, Nick. One of us 3 will have our game end. I just dont see why I am the easy vote.
Nick: You are big competition. Youve shown youre a fighter.
Amanda: Maybe, but am I your biggest competition?
Nick: What do you mean?
Amanda: How many challenges has Steph won in the pasts, and how many have I won?
Nick: Not a lot.
Amanda: Yeah, andI dont know, you know. Im not good at all the strategy stuff all I know is that I just dont see how Im such an easy target. And you know Tom and Steph are inseparable. Youll be out in the final 3, Nick. Tom has the whip over Steph and shes too afraid to cross him.
Nick--Now the choice is not so clear. On one side Amanda is an easy target. Tom will vote for her, Steph will most likely follow. That is 2 votes for her and it could easily be all 4 of us voting for her. She messed up a couple of days ago. She betrayed the alliance and nearly cost me my game. Steph saved me. If Daniel would have been smart and chosen Emily at the revote instead of Steph, Id be sitting on the jury right now. So I definitely have reason to vote for Amanda. She showed shes in this game for herself, but then again, who isnt? Steph is more competition at this point then Amanda is. Not only might she be a challenge threat, her relationship with Tom is threatening to my final 2 alliance with him. Amanda and Tom have very little of a relationship besides the final 4 alliance. Steph will always be committed to Tom so maybe if I get rid of her I would be getting rid of the option of Tom taking her to the finals over me.
