Day 5: Coachella Camp

Kevin--The tribes really werent shuffled too much.  The only changes that were made were that we got Mike and Jawa, and then also Vanessa was moved to Morongo.

Simone: Im really satisfied with the tribe you picked.

Kevin: Thanks.

Simone: I like that the tribe that was Coachella the first 3 days is sort of still in tact. 

Kevin:  Yeah I was thinking the same.

Simone:  I think that maybe we should gather up the original Coachella and talk about this new twist to the game.

Kevin: I agree.

Simone and Kevin approach Emily, Cindi and Paul, and Daniel.

Simone:  Okay, heres the deal. 

Emily: Okay. 

Kevin: I think it was apparent that the original Morongo is going to stick together.  When the tribes were shuffled, it was clear that the lines had been drawn already and that it is an us vs. them thing.

Cindi: Yeah I noticed that.

Simone:  So we were thinking, we need to stick together, the original Coachella.  No matter how the shuffles go, no matter what happens, I think it is important that we act as a unit. 

Emily: So a Coachella alliance?

Kevin:  Yes.  Its an alliance because its clear that Morongo is aligned, or at least bonded together.

Simone:  Also, I talked with Jawa and Mike.  They said that they really felt like outsiders in Morongo.  I think it'd be to our advantage to get to know them and offer them a place with Coachella...a final 9 deal.

Cindi: Sounds good.

Simone--I really think that we can pull this out now...no matter what.  Morongo aligned and we counter aligned, but with one advantage:  Jawa and Mike agreed to stick with us.  Morongo really shut them out it seems and we have done nothing but be accepting to them.  So now all 9 of us are in the jury for sure. No matter what the situation, or how we are shuffled, we have more than the majority and that should be enough to save any of us.

Day 5: Morongo Camp

Tom--I picked the tribes the way I did because I knew that whoever I picked would be the tribe that had to go to tribal council.  I wanted to make sure that I picked people that would not vote me off.  That was the only strategy I had.

Nick and Tom are sitting in water.

Tom: What are you thinking about for tribal council?

Nick: Vanessa.  No doubt in my mind.  Vanessa. 

Tom: Really...Yeah I am thinking the same.

Nick: Would there be any other option?

Tom: Well...Jay

Nick: Why?

Tom: Hes an @$$.

Nick: I guess.  I just...I think the safest bet is Vanessa.

Nick--I always wondered when tribal loyalties are drawn.  Now I know.  They are instant.  I feel like we have no other choice but to vote for Vanessa because she wasnt here with us the first 3 days.

(Vanessa walks into the water)

Vanessa: Hey guys.

Tom: Hey Vanessa. 

Vanessa: How are you guys doing?

Tom: Fine.

(Theres a long awkward silence)

Vanessa: Well, just thought I'd say hi.

Nick: Ok........

(Vanessa leaves)

Vanessa--Nick is basically not talking to me.  I think that his mind is set to vote for me.  Hes not even giving me a chance.

Nick--Its not that I dont like Vanessa.  I just have nothing to say to her.  Were going to vote her out because one, she is the only one we dont really know, and second because shes being fake and kissing up and its obvious.  Shes playing. And if shes a player, might as well vote her out while we can.
