Last time on Survivor Shuffled:

VO: After a major change in the game structure,

Adam--You will all be shuffled into new tribes.

VO: Simone and Kevin lead the establishment of a 9 person Coachella alliance.

Simone: No matter how the shuffles go, no matter what happens, I think it is important that we act as a unit.

VO: But Emily and Daniel voiced uneasiness.

Daniel: Im kind of uncomfortable in this big alliance.

Emily: Me too

VO: In Morongo, Vanessa quickly realized she was the outsider after the shuffle, and scrambled to find a place in the tribe,

Vanessa--I know that right now, I am the odd man out.  Im going to work my way in with some of these people and see if I can get them to vote off Jay.

VO: unaware that others were working against her.

Nick--I dont like Vanessa.  I have nothing to say to her...shes being fake and kissing up and its obvious.  Shes playing. And if shes a player, might as well vote her out while we can.

Jay continued to be unhappy in his tribe:

Jay--First chance I get to jump from these people Im taking it

VO: But in the end, despite gathering a few votes in her favor, Vanessa was voted out of the tribe.

"Vanessa, the tribe has spoken."

Night 6: Morongo Camp

Morongo returns from Tribal Council

Amanda: That was not fun

Nick: Nope.

Nick--Last night Jay received 3 votes...that means 2 people voted with Vanessa.

(Nick talks to Tom)

Nick: I thought you said you talked to Steph

Tom: I did.  She was having moral issues with voting for Vanessa because she had already told her she wouldnt, but I think she did.

Nick--Im not really happy that it was nearly a split vote.  My suspicions are that Steph and Amanda voted with her...a girls alliance...and the all the guys voted for Vanessa.  I just didnt expect that.

Nick: I think its safe to say that Steph and Amanda are not interested in sticking to the original Morongo. 

Tom: You think it was them?

Nick: No doubt.

Tom: Well I think we should talk before we decide that for sure.

Tom--Nick thinks there was a girls alliance to get out Jay.  I dont think that is the case so we agreed to talk to Steph and Amanda.

(Nick, Steph, Amanda, Tom talk)

Nick: What happened?

Amanda: I dont know.

Nick: Did you vote for Vanessa?

Steph: I did.

Amanda: No...I voted for Jay.

Nick: Thats what I thought...why?

Amanda: No one else told me otherwise...I would have voted for Jay if someone would have told me to.

Nick: Oh.

Nick--I guess I just assumed that Steph would talk to Amanda about the vote.  They are close so I just assumed they'd vote together.  So Amanda didnt know to vote for Jay...it was just a misunderstanding.  Im glad it was nothing more.

Amanda--I felt like I was interrogated after tribal council.  I voted for Jay, yes, and I was open about my vote because I thought everyone else was going to do the same.  Had someone told me to vote for Vanessa I would have...but no one did...and then they get mad at me for not doing it...Im sorry...I really am...I just didnt know.

Day 7: Coachella Camp

Simone--I have the slightest gleam of hope that Vanessa was not voted out.  She is in our alliance of 9...well...she will be if she survived.  But I have a feeling Morongo stuck together and voted out the new person. Well find out at the challenge.

Kevin: Tree Mail.

Mike: Cool.

Kevin: (reading) "We captured it, You caption it."  Thats a strange tree mail...it doesnt even rhyme. 

Mike: Haha.

Kevin--Im nervous about this challenge.  If Vanessa is gone we will know for sure that they are aligned on the other side.  And then whoever wins the challenge will have a big job in picking the tribes...theres no guarantee that the shuffle will go in your favor.
