Day 11: Coachella Camp
Tom--I actually could not have picked a better tribe. I think for the first time, everyone feels at some sort of peace. I dont know what it is, but we are all getting along, and no one feels like an outsider.
(The tribe sits around the fire pit, eating.)
Cindi: I have an idea.
Jawa: Whats that?
Cindi: Lets play a game.
Steph: OOO!!!!! Like what?
Cindi: (laughs) I dont know. How about truth or dare?
Steph: OOOO the possibilities!!!! I sound like a cheese commercial.
(Everyone laughs)
Steph: Okay, Ill go first. Tom, truth or dare.
Tom: Hmmm, truth.
Steph: How bad do you want me?
(Everyone laughs)
Tom: Okay dare.
Steph: No! You have to answer it.
Tom: Oh I want you bad.
Steph: I thought so.
Tom: Okay Steph, truth or dare?
Steph: Dare.
Tom: No, youre supposed to say truth so I can ask you how much you like me.
Steph: Dare.
(They smile)
Tom: Okay...I dare you togo out into the water (he pointed) take off your top and let it float out into the ocean.
Steph: No way!!
Tom: You have to!
Steph: No!!
Tom: Okay well then you have to accept a dare that makes that one look like nothing.
Steph: And thats what?
Tom: Make out with Nick.
(Everyone laughs)
Nick: Hey, leave me out of this.
Steph: Oh come on Nick, I promise I wont bite.
Nick: No way.
Steph: Oh poo!!
Steph--Im such a lucky girl. Ive got 2 great guys looking out for me. Both Tom and Nick are very smart and very silly and very cool. And then you have me and I feel so stupid out here and I dont know what Im doing. But as long as I have them sticking up for me, I think I should be okay.
Day 11: Morongo Camp
Simone--The feeling in this tribe couldnt be worse. Everyone knows that something happened to Kevin at tribal council. It is taking a lot for me not to explode on everyone and start pointing fingers and forcing people to talk. But as much as I want to do that, I need to keep my cool, and get to the truth by talking to people. I will find out what happened to Kevin, and he will be avenged. I first talked to Daniel. He was actually at tribal council, as an observer. So I was hoping he could shed some light as to what happened.
Simone: Hey Daniel.
Daniel: Hey Simone.
Simone: You know that Kevin was not supposed to be voted out right?
Daniel: Well, yes.
Simone: You were at tribal council. What happened?
Daniel: It was 4 votes Kevin, 3 votes Tom.
Simone: Im assuming that 3 of Kevins votes came from the two Steph held and then Tom.
Daniel: Yeah, I think so. And Kevin, Paul, Emily and Jay were supposed to vote for Tom.
Simone: But one of them didnt.
Daniel: I think.
Simone: Do you have any idea about who it could be? Did you pick up any clues at tribal council or around camp that someone wasnt happy with Kevin.
Daniel: No. If I had to guess, Id say it was Jay. Hes an original Morongo, and it would make sense to me that he not want to vote Tom out.
Simone: Thanks Daniel.
Daniel: Cheers.
(Simone approaches Jay, who is cutting wood.)
Simone: Jay, we need to talk.
Jay: I agree.
Simone: What did you want to talk about?
Jay: Well the vote. I knew you'd come to me and want to know if it was me who voted for Kevin. But I didnt.
Simone: Cindi told me that you didnt get along with Tom the first 6 days.
Jay: Thats right. He shunned me for some reason.
Simone: And she told me that you joined up in our final 9 alliance, replacing Vanessa.
Jay: Yes. I promise you, I had nothing with any of the Morongos and when I got shuffled into a tribe with a bunch of you, I jumped as soon as I could. Kevin and I hit it off as soon as we got back to camp. He was seriously the person that I connected with most out here. You're going to have to trust me that I voted for Tom.
Simone: Okay.
Simone--Cindi told me we could trust Jay. And he seems like a good enough guy...and at this point I may even believe that he did vote for Tom and that our snake is either Emily or Paul. But you have to earn my trust, and just because Jay joined in our final 9 with Kevin, does not mean that I trust him completely...he's going to have to earn it.
