Day 22: Sekani Camp
(Sekani enters their new camp)
Steph: Our new home!!!! Weeeeee!!!!
Daniel: Do you hear something?
(All the castaways stand still)
Chris: What are we listening for?
Daniel: It sounds like a waterfall!
Amanda: Where?!?
Daniel: I think its over there! It cant be far, its loud.
(He starts running toward the sound, and all the other castaways followsome not as excited as him. Daniel finally reaches a clearing that reveals a waterfall about 30 feet high, with a big pool of water below.)
Steph: Oh my god!!! Yay!!!!!
(She jumps in the water, soon followed by all of the castaways)
Steph--The waterfall is amazing! Moving to this new camp, and finding this waterfall is like a giant reward to the 9 of us who have made it this far. I think for once, we all forgot that we were trying to play a game and we were just having a good time.
(The castaways enjoy themselves as a few start to get out of the water and start heading back to camp.)
Jawa: Im getting out.
Simone: Me too.
Jawa--The water was fun, and a good break to everything. But as soon as we started to get out, there was this negative feeling that kind of set in almost immediately. I mean, here we are, the 9 of us. Weve never been in a tribe all together like this. Weve been accustomed to being with a small tribe for 3 days and then getting shuffled around. Now well be with these people all the way to the end. If theres anytime to get your head in the game, now is the time.
Simone: Can we talk about the game?
Jawa: Yeah of course.
Simone: Did you notice something at the challenge that was pretty obvious?
Jawa: Like what?
Simone: Basically, Amanda helped out Steph, Steph helped out Tom, Amanda helped out Tom. Its like they were going after anyone but themselves.
Jawa: I did kind of notice that.
Jawa--If the challenge revealed anything, it was peoples loyalties. Really the jury alliance had been everything but buried and after seeing that Tom, Steph and Amanda were helping each other out, this might be a good time to pull us back together.
Jawa: I highly recommend that we talk to Emily and Daniel. We need to make sure they know that if any of us stand any chance later in the game, that we need to stick together now.
Simone: Good thinking.
(Simone and Jawa approach Emily and Daniel, who are sitting by the fire talking)
Jawa: Hey.
Daniel: Hi.
Jawa: Guys...I really think we need to stick togetherus 4...Steph, Tom and Amanda helped each other out big time in the challenge, and basically took us down one by one. It was very revealing. If we want to stand any chance we need to make sure that we are united against them.
Emily: Simone already controls my votes. What else can I do?
Simone: Well, I know but I think Jawa is just saying that we need to work together, instead of against each other. Even if I do control your vote Emily, I think its important that we were for the benefit of each other.
Jawa: Daniel?
Daniel: That sounds like a plan.
Daniel--I know that it is smart to stick with Jawa and Simone, but my true alliance is to Emily. We made that deal on day 5 or so and we have stuck with it since. Emily has told me she wants nothing to do with Simone, and for that reason, neither do I.
Daniel: So who do we vote for?
Jawa: I have to vote for Chris.
Emily: Even if the 4 of us do vote for Chris, there are 5 of them. Theres no way around it anyway.
Simone: We just have to hope that something happens in our favor. And we dont know for sure if there are 5 of them. Nick could be somewhere in the middle. He sat out of the challenge so we really dont know if he is loyal to anyone.
Daniel: I think hes just as close to Steph and Amanda as Tom is.
Simone: But we dont know that for sure and as long as we dont know, then there is hope.
Daniel: So we vote for Chris?
Jawa: Yes, I have to. He made me in the challenge.
Simone: That was stupid.
Jawa: Well, we have to vote for him so I can get my vote back. We cant do anything until I have my vote.
Daniel: Okay, Chris it is.
